I finished up a lot of products in the last two months, which is great. For the rest of the year, and hopefully into 2020 I will focus on finishing up products I already have instead of using 3 or 4 different face washes or […]

Another few months have come and gone, and so have a few products. I’m actively trying to finish things before purchasing new ones. It’s easier for me to use up skincare products rather than makeup products. With skincare, I don’t feel the need to have multiples of moisturizers, face washes, etc. Anyway, here’s what I’ve used up lately.
Do eye masks actually work? I’m not totally sure if they work. I like to use them before a big event. They’re a nice relaxation thing. Would I buy it again? I mean probably, but I’m not rushing out to buy them.
I haven’t run into a FAB product that I haven’t liked, and this was no exception. I loved this little sample pack. It was a nice, hydrating oil without ever feeling too heavy. Would I buy it again? I would consider purchasing the full-sized version of this.
I’ve been wanting to try something from Drunk Elephant for a while, but the whole line is pretty pricey. I liked this moisturizer, but it wasn’t life changing. Would I buy it again? I don’t think so.
I don’t blow dry my hair THAT often, but I like to use a protector when I do. It’s a nice product, and I enjoyed using it. It made my hair softer when I used it. Would I buy it again? I don’t think so. I liked it, but I didn’t love it and I’d rather try another product.
I got this in a set for Christmas and I was really excited to try it. I loved this moisturizer. I like a moisturizer that isn’t super heavy and this one is perfect for my skin. Would I buy it again? Yes! It was half price a couple weeks ago on the Sephora website and I regret not picking it up.
I have bought this concealer at least 3 or 4 times. It has now become solely my face concealer rather than my under eye concealer. It’s reasonably priced and I think it works well. Would I buy it again? Yep!
I really like the Sephora Collection skincare items. These masks are at the top of my list. I can get a couple uses out of these and they’re very reasonably priced. Would I buy it again? Yes.
I don’t regularly use makeup wipes. I’d rather just use a cleanser to remove makeup. I liked to have this little pack around for the times that I did want to use a makeup wipe. They’re very gentle and I love anything coconut. Would I buy it again? Maybe.
This sample was NICE. I loved the way it made my skin feel. I considered getting a full-sized version for about 2 seconds before I saw the price. $122.00 was not happening for me!! Nothing is that nice. Would I buy it again? Uh, no.
I find little difference happening when I use a sheet mask. But, I did find that this one help to calm down a breakout I was having, so I was impressed. Would I buy it again? Yes, I feel like I should always have a few of these on deck.
I bought this thinking it was biodegradable, but I don’t think this actually is. I floss daily. Yes, I am one of those people that listens to their parents and their dentist almost always. I liked this floss, but I’d prefer the one that actually is biodegradable. Would I buy it again? Probably not.
An astringent has been a part of my skincare routine since high school. I feel like it’s necessary for me. It helps clean out all the dirt and grime living in my face. I’m not the most brand loyal when it comes to this, so that’s why I bought this store brand one. Would I buy it again? Yep.
Yes to Carrots Nourishing Shampoo and Pampering Conditioner – I got this for Christmas literally years ago. I had picked it out based on recommendations from friends. I didn’t like this shampoo or conditioner. I felt like it didn’t make my hair any less dry. It was a chore to get through. Would I buy it again? Nope!
First Aid Beauty Pure Skin Face Cleanser – I love this cleanser. I originally got in a gift pack with some other FAB products. It’s an excellent daily cleanser. It’s not too harsh on the skin, but it works well. This was my second tube. Would I buy it again? Yes! I already had the bigger size of this cleanser ready to go, and I got another back up for Christmas. I’m seriously considering the jumbo size next time I buy it.
Clinique Moisture Surge Hydrating Supercharged Concentrate – I got this little sample as part of my birthday gift from Ulta last year. I thought it was a good morning moisturizer. But I didn’t feel like it did enough at night. Would I buy it again? Probably not.
The Ordinary Serum Foundation in 2.0N – This is my go-to foundation. I like the light, yet buildable coverage. I think it makes my skin look really nice and blurs everything out. Also, it’s ridiculously inexpensive. At $6.70, it’s cheaper than most drugstore foundations. It is tough to try and figure out what your shade might be, so if there is a store close to you, go in and swatch test. Would I buy it again? Yes! I got it in a winter and a summer shade.
Alba Botanica Acnedote Face & Body Scrub – I’ve been using this scrub for YEARS. It wasn’t available in Canada, so I would pick up a bottle in the States whenever I’d go. It worked well for me. Sometime last year, my skin completely changed. I now have combo skin, when it used to be exclusively oily. This scrub is now way to harsh for me. Would I buy it again? It makes me sad to say it, because I’ve repurchased it so many times, but no. this was my last bottle.
Well folks, another VIB sale at Sephora has arrived. It comes at the perfect time to start some Christmas shopping. Most of the gift sets are out already as well, so you can get a lot of value with those. With an extra little discount, […]
