I went to Trader Joe’s and here is what I bought
There are many benefits to living in Canada. Unfortunately, there isn’t any locations of the much-hyped grocery store, Trader Joe’s, here in the great white north.
But I am a Canadian in a border town. There is a Trader Joe’s location not TOO far from me, so I get to go a couple times a year.
Here is everything I got on my last trip to Trader Joe’s:
Joe-Joe’s Slims Cookies
These are like the opposite of an oreo double-stuff, but they are really tasty! Somtimes I just want a nice crispy cookie!!
I like hummus. I’ve been hearing really good things about chocolate hummus, so I thought I would pick it up and try it.
Brioche French Toast
This was one of Ethan’s picks. But I was eyeing it too. I am very much looking forward to having these for a weekend breakfast.
I think these will go perfectly with the french toast. Ouuuu I can’t wait.
Gnoocci alla Sorrentina
This gnocci comes with sauce and will make a great quick and easy dinner one night.
Butternut Squash Ravioli
I pick these up every time I go to Trader Joe’s. Again, they’re an easy lunch or dinner. I like to do these up with little oil, chili flakes, and parm.
Thai Style Red Curry Sauce
I’m very much looking forward to using this sauce, either with chicken or fish.
Non-Dairy Oat Beverage
I’ve also been hearing a lot about oat milk and thought I would try it out for in my tea and maybe in baking.
Everything but the Elote Seasoning
This is the latest hit to come out of Trader Joe’s so I thought I should jump on the trend. I’m going to try it out on different meats, and on corn for some sort of fun salad.
Banana Bread Mix
We could always for go banana bread in this household. We made this the very next day. I added a banana and chocolate chips and it was great.
This is another one of Ethan’s picks. He looooves American sweet tea.
Miso Ramen Soup
A great and easy lunch!!
