Clean & Clear Deep Cleansing Astringent I’ve been using some variation of this product for over a decade. I will sometimes buy the store brand, it really depends what’s on sale. I got this one at Winner’s. I think it actually the UK version of […]
I am currently trying to pan some of my makeup products, but here are some of the things I finished up in the month of March. Joico Blonde Life Brightening Shampoo I got this shampoo as part of a set for my birthday last year […]
I’ve been trying to make an effort to use up a lot of my products lately. I am a bit of a hoarder. But I bought them to use them, so here we go. If I’ve managed to finish something it usually means I liked it.
Elf Cosmetics Makeup Mist & Spray – For some reason I don’t like to spend a lot of money on products that people can’t see, like a setting spray. This one from elf is like $4 and I think it does a pretty decent job. I definitely notice a difference in my makeup lasting throughout the day when I don’t use it.Would I buy it again? Yes. I already had a back up ready to go. I am on my third bottle of this.
First Aid Beauty Skin Rescue Deep Cleanser with Red Clay – I got this cleanser in a set from Sephora when it was on sale. This lasted me a while, and I really liked using it. I used it maybe once or twice a week, when I felt like my skin needed a good deep cleanse or when I have a break out. Would I buy it again? Yes, but maybe when there’s a sale or when I have a coupon.
Sephora Coconut Face Mask – I really like Sephora’s skincare line. I find it affordable by Sephora standards and I think the quality is pretty good. I am never really sure how to feel about face masks, like I’m not sure if they do anything truly????????? I like the sleeping masks better than the sheet masks, personally. Would I buy it again? Maybe in a blackout state.
Sephora Coconut Water Moisturizing Cream – I bought this on a whim from the Sephora sale section one day – which is dangerous, because those are usually discontinued products and they will one day be sold out and never come back. Which is what happened with my now-favourite moisturizer. Would I buy it again? Yes. Luckily I had one as backup, but after that I am on the hunt for a new moisturizer.
Too Faced Sun Bunny Bronzer – A friend gave me this little sample version, which I used exclusively for like a solid year. I found a big boy version at Winners for a steal of a price. Anyway, I think this slightly breaks me out now which is not great for me. Would I buy it again? I did buy a bigger version of it, but I don’t think I will ever be able to finish that in my life time.
The Ordinary High Adherence Silicone Primer – Clocking in under $5, this is a pretty unbeatable primer for the price. It doesn’t have that weird feeling that silicone primers usually have, and I find it decently moisturizing and it works well with The Ordinary’s serum foundation, which I’m a big fan of. Would I buy it again? Yes, I already had one for backup.
Bumble & Bumble Hairdresser’s Invisible Oil – I got this sample in a Sephora order. I would use it after washing my hair, prior to using a hair dryer. I thought it was fine, but not worth the money of a full size. Would I buy it again? Probably not.
Makeup Revolution Conceal and Define Concealer – I bought this concealer after hearing it was a pretty decent dupe for the Tarte Shape Tape concealer at a much more budget-friendly price. I tend to go through concealer pretty quickly, so I don’t really want to get emotionally attached to a product that is both pretty expensive and not super easy to acquire in the great white north. This was my second tube I believe. I recently bought the Colourpop No Filter concealer, and I am waiting for that to come in, so I am looking forward to seeing how they compare. Would I buy it again? Yes, I already had one for backup.
Bath & Body Works Fresh Lemonade Foaming Hand Soap – When B&BW has a sale on these soaps, I tend to stock up. I embarassingly have like, 9 in my cupboard right now. My boyfriend only likes foaming hand soaps, so that’s what I buy. This scent was fine, but really bugged me near the end. Maybe because it was joyful and summery when I was in the deep, depressing throes of winter.
