Taskmaster The 9th season of my favourite show has come to an end. The cast this season was perfection. They had incredible chemistry together, which made the studio segments really fun to watch. This charm had been sort of missing the last few seasons, so […]

Drag Race UK
RuPaul’s Drag Race has finally made it across the pond. The first two episodes have been a lot of fun. I am biased because I feel like a British (or Northern Irish!) accent makes everything better.
I think the cast has been great. I love that they went with 10 queens and we can really focus on them. There seems to be a clear divide in social media queens and performing queens which seems to be more prominent than on American seasons. This is pretty evident in the Lip Sync For Your Life performances. They have been, uh, rough.
I’m really excited to see where the rest of this season goes.
I can’t believe it’s taken me so long to watch this show. It is unbelievable.
I just finished the third season, and I felt that this season is where the characters really began to learn and grow from the mistakes they’ve made in the past. They’ve been able to become better people and closer as a family. All without losing that ‘Rose’ charm that we love.
The writing in this show is truly outstanding. There are so many great quotes in every single episode. I laugh out loud every time I watch this show. But it doesn’t sacrifice real, genuine moments just for laughs. It might be a perfect show???
Top Chef Charleston
In trying to find something to have on during the day while working, I have turned to Top Chef Charleston. It was the first season I watched while it was on. It has a great group of returnees, and a pretty decent cast of newbies with a few standouts (hi Jim!!!!).
I always love the idea of a Fan vs Favourites season of any show, but the veterans always have a huge upper hand in the competition. At this point I’d rather just see an all newbies or all returnees season.
The Challenge The newest season of The Challenge started a few weeks ago. This season we see the Americans face off against the Brits. I love seeing a team challenge, we haven’t seen one in ages. I don’t have high hopes that it will stay […]
Great British Bake Off
Everyone’s favourite show that they can comfortably watch with their parents is back!!
I am so excited that a new season of Great British Baking Show is here. I feel like I spend all year waiting for it. It fills me with so much joy just watching it. Two seasons and one episode in, I really do love Noel and Sandy as hosts. They’re not Mel and Sue, but they’re not trying to be which is appreciated. They bring a completely different vibe to the show.
I’m excited about the cast, though they are a YOUNG group. I’m looking forward to seeing what they will create throughout the season.
Bachelor in Paradise
This past week in Paradise we saw drama bleed into the wedding of former paradisers, Chris and Krystal. It is amazing to see them go from villains of their seasons to a married couple. This franchise is so odd. Anyway, This is about when the season starts to slow down and I think it’s still progressing nicely. I will say it’s hard to see how any of these relationships are going to end up in an engagement. I’d like to see these relationships go a little deeper. For all of my thoughts on this season of Bachelor in Paradise check out the podcast.
Murder Mystery I’ve been telling my boyfriend for weeks (maybe even months) that I wanted to watch the Netflix well murder mystery, starring Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston so not to watch it without me. And because I need to be in a very specific […]
We said goodbye to Hannah’s season of The Bachelorette in a very unique way. It was broadcasted to us, more or less, that Hannah was not with her final pick still and that probably meant she picked Jed. Which she did. Not a great look for Hannah, but she came out better for it on the other side. For all of my thoughts on this season, check out my Eulogy of Hannah as The Bachelorette post and The Bachelorette RHAP Up podcast.
Bachelor in Paradise
And with every finale of The Bachelorette, comes a new beginning in Bachelor in Paradise. This season has been hyped up as the best one yet, so I am excited for it. Last night’s premiere was pretty great. One of the storylines that will be most prominent throughout the season will be f-boy Blake. I can see getting tired of that preeeetty quickly, but I’m having fun with it for now.
Global Love Island
Okay so, I watched a LOT of Love Island this week. Firstly, I finished off season 4 of Love Island UK. It ended up being a very fun watch, but wow 60 episodes is a killer.
I started watching Love Island Australia, because I’ve heard it’s a good one. I’ve been enjoying the cast so far. It’s not as buddy-buddy as some other seasons have been.
Love Island US is just entering its final week. and we are down to 4 couples vying for the title of ‘best Love Island couple’ or whatever it is when you win. I know I keep saying this, but I am really enjoying this season, and I am so excited that it’s been renewed.
Love Island US I’ve been having a great time watching Love Island US. It has really surpassed any expectations I had for the show. Which were very few. I’m sorry! I was skeptical that CBS wouldn’t completely screw up a show that worked so well. […]
