Did I think I was going to watch Listen to Your Heart every single week? I mean, I probably was. Pandemic or not, I do love content. Did I think I was going to love Listen to Your Heart? Definitely not. Yes, I loved the […]

ABC has announced their new Bachelorette – it’s 38-year-old Clare Crawley who we first met on Juan Pablo’s season of The Bachelor. We watched her search for love on The Bachelor, on 2 seasons of Bachelor in Paradise, and we saw her find it with Quebecois Benoit on Bachelor Winter Games.
That relationship didn’t last, but we were all happy for Clare after watching her journey throughout the franchise.
Here she is now as The Bachelorette.
I love this pick. I had been hearing rumours that she could be the one, and I wasn’t sure if I could believe it until it was officially announced. She made her appearance on Good Morning America to announce to the world that she was here looking for love.
Clare is 14 years older than our last Bachelorette, Hannah Brown. She’s lived a lot of life. She’s experienced a lot of things. She’s going to bring a maturity to the show that we haven’t seen in a while.
Clare knows what she wants and what she deserves. She is going to take this process seriously and won’t take any bullshit from the guys.
The reason why Hannah was such a successful Bachelorette was because she was open, honest, and vulnerable. Clare has all of those qualities in spades. We’ve never seen her hold back.
Everyone from Bachelor Nation seems to like her. I’ve seen people coming out saying how excited they are for her, I feel like that’s a good sign. Even her former fiance is excited for her!
I hope that they cast men who are at the same point in their life that she is. I’d be pretty disappointed if the cast was full of 22-year-old f-boys. I think Clare deserves a great crop of dudes!
I’m really excited that they went a little bit out of the box for this pick, and I think it will pay off. I can’t wait for this season to start!
America’s Next Top Model Cycle 10 & 11 I did it again guys. I accidentally fell into another ANTM binge dark hole. There are these videos on YouTube that are literally 8 hours long and it’s every episode. Which makes it perfect for a work […]
We’re a couple weeks into the new Survivor season, and I’ve been enjoying it so far. I didn’t have high hopes about the Island of the Idols twist. And I’m still not totally on board with it. The cast so far has been really amazing and fun, and I don’t want to have to waste a whole lot of time on a weird twist. I am now more hopeful about how things are going to play out. For more of my thoughts on this season so far, check out my appearance on the RHAP Survivor BnB podcast.
Ex on the Beach US
I don’t think the US version of the show is nearly as good as the OG British version, but this season has been pretty good. I think we waste a lot of time on crush weeks. I also wish we could see the departure of a few more of the original singles, because a lot of the exes are exes of exes anyway. I think there has been ample drama, and everyone is getting involved.
Teen Mom 2
I more or less gave up on Teen Mom OG. I just wasn’t feeling it anymore. I am still giving Teen Mom 2 a chance. With the exit of Jenelle and the entrance of Jade, it gave the show the little boost it needed. This season so far has been okay. The biggest point of drama comes from someone who isn’t even a part of the cast – Leah’s sister who, in the process of getting her divorce, got pregnant from a hook up in Costa Rica. The fun never ends!!
The Challenge The newest season of The Challenge started a few weeks ago. This season we see the Americans face off against the Brits. I love seeing a team challenge, we haven’t seen one in ages. I don’t have high hopes that it will stay […]
Murder Mystery I’ve been telling my boyfriend for weeks (maybe even months) that I wanted to watch the Netflix well murder mystery, starring Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston so not to watch it without me. And because I need to be in a very specific […]
Bienvenue and aloha to yet another season of The Bachelorette. We welcome in Hannah B as our 15th Bachelorette. After last week’s special, I found myself really looking forward to this new season. I thought Hannah’s first night as the lead was pretty solid. She had fun, but called out Scott when he needed to be called out. Of course that moment felt very produced, but not from Hannah’s end. I can’t see her faking anything for the cameras. I’m pretty excited about where this season is going to take us. After listening to a great interview with Chris Harrison where he calls this one of his favourite seasons ever, I’m even more pumped.

First of all, big thanks to the Paradise Hotel twitter account for reminding me to watch.
So I did get around to watching the first couple episodes. There is 3 episodes a week, which is QUITE the commitment. I didn’t watch the first iteration of Paradise Hotel. But from what I understand it is a pretty similar format to the original. It also has a pretty similar format to Love Island, which a lot of people have commented on.
It’s a good summer show, but it’s not the best thing I’ve ever watch. I wasn’t expecting world class television or anything, but there isn’t quite as much charm as Love Island. Maybe it’s because I love a British accent. The cast is fine. Like with Love Island, I think it’s going to take me a bit to get into it. I’m going to keep watching, but I don’t think I’ll be upset if I miss an episode.
the 38th season has come and gone. I can’t believe how long I’ve been watching Survivor. I can’t say this season was my favourite. I’d probably say it was in my bottom tier, if I had to make a ranking. I could never really get into the season, which is a shame because I really liked the cast. I have yet to watch the preview for season 39, but I’m hoping it’s a little more fun. Read the rest of my thoughts on this season of Survivor here.
What an incredibly weird season of Survivor. Sure, 39 seasons and 19 years in they have to do some things to keep the show fresh and exciting. And Edge of Extinction was textbook ‘throwing something against the wall to see if it sticks’. I don’t […]
