Richard Osman’s House of Games We discovered Richard Osman’s House of Games this week through my YouTube recommendations, and we are OBSESSED. It’s a daily show with 4 celebrities that battle it out over 5 rounds of quiz questions. The questions have a different spin […]

What I’ve been watching this week – November 20

Sharp Objects I’ve been trying to get around to watching the shows on my ‘Shows I promise I’m going to watch in 2019‘ list. This is only going mildly well. Anyway, Sharp Objects was on this list. I read Sharp Objects in the winter and […]

Taskmaster

The 9th season of my favourite show has come to an end. The cast this season was perfection. They had incredible chemistry together, which made the studio segments really fun to watch. This charm had been sort of missing the last few seasons, so I was glad to see it come back.

In other news, Taskmaster has made a new youtube channel where you can watch seasons of the show if you live outside of the UK. Right now, only the first season is available, but more or coming.

America’s Next Top Model

I am so back on my ANTM BS. I’ve watched a couple of seasons this week. I just can’t help myself. It hasn’t even been that long since I’ve watched some of these seasons. It’s just perfect ‘juts-to-have-on’ tv.

What I’ve been watching this week – November 4

Ex on the Beach The latest season of Ex on the Beach finished up a few weeks ago, but I hadn’t been able to get to the last few episodes until this week. I liked this season better than last season, but it’s still missing […]

What I’ve been watching this week – October 15

Drag Race UK RuPaul’s Drag Race has finally made it across the pond. The first two episodes have been a lot of fun. I am biased because I feel like a British (or Northern Irish!) accent makes everything better. I think the cast has been […]

The Challenge

The newest season of The Challenge started a few weeks ago. This season we see the Americans face off against the Brits. I love seeing a team challenge, we haven’t seen one in ages. I don’t have high hopes that it will stay teams until the very end, though. Like with any season of The Challenge, there’s been lots of drama so far. I’m really enjoying this season even though we’re only a few episodes in.

Are You The One

The ‘come one, come all’ theme of this season was exactly what AYTO needed to bring life into a format that’s getting a little stale. Now that the season is over, I can say that it was easily one of my favourites. The cast was fantastic. I liked that it was a smaller cast, so we were able to get to know more people. I’d love to see them do another season like this.

Derry Girls

The second series of Derry Girls came to Netflix a couple months ago. I absolutely fell in love with the first series. It was so funny and endearing, and I was hoping that the second series would live up to it. There was no need to worry. The second series was amazing. I loved it so much. It even brought a little bit of an emotional element into the second half of the series. It was so magical and wonderful. Please watch it.

Schitt’s Creek

I promised in a What I’m Going To Watch This Year post a couple of months ago that I was going to watch Schitt’s Creek. I did start it, but kind of put it on the back burner. Well, I’m back baby. I’m firing through the episodes now. It is such a brilliant show. It sure helps that it’s a Canadian show too!

What I’ve been watching this week – September 9

Taskmaster Series 9 The new season of Taskmaster has just begun! I know I keep saying this, but Taskmaster is truly the best and funniest show I’ve ever seen. Sure, I have the tendency to be hyperbolic, but I mean it! This new season is […]

Eulogizing Hannah B as the Bachelorette

Eulogizing Hannah B as the Bachelorette

The latest season of The Bachelorette has come to an end. Overall, I’ve got to say I really enjoyed the season. There were some bumps along the way – the heavy-handed focus on Hannah’s relationship with villain Luke P., and her choosing Jed in the […]

The Amazing Race

The Amazing Race came back a couple weeks ago after a loooong hiatus. For their 31st season they decided to have a battle of the CBS reality shows. Favourite teams from previous seasons of The Amazing Race plus new teams made up of Big Brother and Survivor contestants are coming together to race around the world.

I haven’t watched TAR in a number of years, but knowing most of the cast really drew me in again. The first two episodes were great and I’m fully back in again. I’m now more excited to watch The Amazing Race than Survivor right now.

Teen Mom OG

I needed a good background tv show while working, and I thought I would go old school with the very first season of Teen Mom OG. I’m pretty sure I watched this season when it was first on TV, but haven’t really gone back. I stopped watching the series for a long time, but got back into it this past season.

Love Island Season 4

I’m still making my way through the 4th season of Love Island. I am about 3/4 through the season so far, and I am enjoying it. Not as much as last season, but I am still having a good time watching it. This season is definitely more dramatic than the last one.

Shows I promise I’m going to watch this year

Shows I promise I’m going to watch this year

A lot of the time people recommend shows to me, I just know I’m not going to watch them. I’m sorry, it’s not you, it’s me. I just have a particular taste, and that taste is mostly calming British shows. I’m just know in my […]
