TV + FOOD + TRAVEL + MAKEUP +EVERYTHING ELSE

What I’ve been watching this week – November 12

I.T. Crowd – The I.T. Crowd is one of my favourite things on Netflix. It’s a British cult classic starring Chris O’Dowd, before he crossed the ocean and into North American Stardom as the love interest in Bridesmaids (sorry, spoiler alert,) and one of my favourite people in the realm of British comedy, Richard Ayoade. It’s one of those shows that’s perfect to put on in the background while ~relaxing~. I’ve watched the series through probably 4 or 5 times. It’s so charming! The episodes aren’t long and the seasons are short so it’s pretty easy to binge the whole series in a day without realizing it.

ANTM Cycle 6 & 8 – Last week I told you that I stumbled across a 9 hour long YouTube video of the entirety of Cycle 7. Well, guess what else was available? THAT’S RIGHT!!! CYCLES 6 & 8!!!! For what it’s worth, the stretch from 6-8 is what I believe to be the true golden days of ANTM. There are definitely some Tyra gimics, (looking at you, fake fainting spell), but these seasons are so good. There are some really talented models, great photo shoots, and interesting personalities. Because I like to have tv on while I work, I managed to knock out both of these cycles in one week.

8 out of 10 Cats Does Countdown – Have I told you lately that I love British panel shows, because I do. This show started as a little crossover years ago, but it was so popular, they release a couple episodes a year of this twist on the British classic “Countdown”. It features some of the most popular comedians from the British colonies try to work out math problems and spell words. It is the perfect bedtime show for me, because trying to do math exhausts me.

RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 8 – Another program I’ve been using as a bedtime show this week. I chose season 8 because A. It’s one of my favourite seasons and I love every character and B. it’s one of only two seasons available on Canadian Netflix. Please watch (or rewatch) Bitch Perfect right now.
